QCA response to BIS - The Kay Review: Call for Evidence

The Quoted Companies Alliance has responded to the Call for Evidence regarding the Department for Business Innovation & Skills Kay Review. The Quoted Companies Alliance felt it needed toe express the concern over the current equity markets where there has also been a significant drop in the number of British companies listing in London. While there is no one reason for this drop, we see the fall in itself as reason to explore whether or not UK equity markets are fit for purpose. With the small and mid-cap quoted companies representing 85% of the total quoted companies, any recommendations must include substantial consideration of our constituency.
