QCA response to the European Commission's consultation on financial sector taxation
The Quoted Companies Alliance's Tax Committee advised on the response to this consultation from the European Commission on the possibility of a financial sector transaction tax. We advised that a financial transaction tax, at any rate, will have a detrimental effect on liquidity in markets throughout Europe.
