QCA response to HM Treasury's Tax Advantaged Venture Capital Schemes Consultation
The Quoted Companies Alliance Tax Committee examined the HM Treasury consultation paper on tax-advantaged venture capital schemes, which explored extending Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs) through raising the qualifying company size. The Quoted Companies Alliance supported the objectives of the consultation to increase seed investment, to simplify schemes and to refocus the schemes on risk capital.
