Robin joined Aviva Investors in 2004 as a fund manager in the UK Equities team. He joined from Oriel Securities where he worked as a small companies analyst. Previously he spent eight years as a smaller companies fund manager at Invesco and five years at KPMG working on audit and special assignments. Robin has a MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. He has the following professional qualifications: Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA), Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Mark began his investment career with Legal & General in 1985, before joining Greig Middleton & Co Limited where he was a private client fund manager. In 1992, he joined Perpetual Plc covering the UK part of their Global Smaller Companies Fund; the UK Smaller Companies Core Fund & the Invesco Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust. Mark joined Standard Life Investments in 2002, as a small/mid-cap fund manager, running their UK Opportunity Fund from its launch in November 2002; and in-house small cap pension funds. Mark joined Artemis in October 2007 and is part of the small cap team and fund manager of the Artemis UK Smaller Companies Fund.

Marina Bond is an investment manager for Rathbones Unit Trust Management, joining in February 2000 after graduating from Durham University with first class BSc Honours in Natural Sciences (Philosophy and Archaeology) and now holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Securities Institute Diploma. She is also a Fellow of the Securities Institute. Marina managed the Rathbone Smaller Companies Fund which, in July 2009, was merged with the Rathbone Special Situations Fund and renamed the Rathbone Recovery Fund. She has 10 years experience of analysing small and mid-cap companies.

Katie Potts is the managing director and also the lead fund manager for HIML. She established Herald Investment Management Ltd in December 1993 to manage Herald Investment Trust plc which was launched in February 1994. Katie read Engineering Science on a GKN Group scholarship at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. She worked for five years in investment management at Baring Investment Management Limited, before joining S.G. Warburg Securities' UK electronics research team in 1988.  She was voted top analyst by finance directors of electronics companies canvassed by the Treasurer magazine.

Head of the UK Small/Mid Cap Team, Richard joined BlackRock in 2006 and manages the UK Special Situations Fund, the UK Small Cap Fund, the UK merging Companies Hedge Fund and a range of other small and mid cap portfolios.

Deryck Noble-Nesbitt is Managing Director of Investments and Smaller Companies at Close Brothers Asset Management. Deryck has a strong track record of managing equity portfolios including smaller companies. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1994 and is a Chartered Accountant, having spent over six years' working at Deloitte & Touche in London and New York. He has an additional nine years experience in the analysis of equities and is a CFA Charterholder.

Henrietta Marsh joined ISIS Equity Partners from 3i in 2005.
