Join us to find out how you can improve your corporate governance practices at the launch of our fourth QCA/UHY Hacker Young Corporate Governance Behaviour Review 2017.
To launch the latest QCA/UHY Hacker Young Corporate Governance Behaviour Review we are holding an event, which will take the form of mini roundtable discussions covering the themes highlighted from the review. You will get the opportunity to hear from the facilitators who will give their opinion and guidance on their specific topic and then you can ask them your questions.
Date: Tuesday 5th December 2017
Time: 8am (8:30am start) until 10:30am
Venue: London office of UHY Hacker Young
For our review, we have looked at the corporate governance statements in the annual reports and websites of 100 companies within AIM, the LSE Main Market (excluding the FTSE 350) and ISDX to determine the level of corporate governance disclosure. We are keen to highlight areas where companies are excelling and where they can improve their governance practices – all in an effort to improve corporate governance behaviour.
The three topics are:
- What are the challenges of linking strategy with governance? Bob Holt, Chairman of Lakehouse PLC and Mears Group PLC
- What are this year’s issues for Remuneration Committee Chairs? Charles Henderson, UK Equities Business Manager, Invesco Asset Management Limited
- How can you show your board is fit for purpose? Edward Craft, Partner, Wedlake Bell LLP & QCA Corporate Governance Expert Group Member
This event is free to attend for all quoted companies. Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
