Our Corporate Finance Advisors Expert Group deals with issues that affect the primary markets for small and mid-size quoted companies.

The Group is currently working on:

Examining why small and mid-size quoted companies do not take advantage of non-bank lending avenues, such as using quoted debt instruments for financing needs.
Reviewing how to improve the Qualified Executive (QE) and NOMAD approval regime.

A working group made up of representatives from our Markets & Regualtions, Legal and Corporate Finance Expert Groups has advised on our response to the Takeover Panel's consultations on proft forecasts (PCP 2012/1) and companies subject to the code (PCP 2012/3).

The Quoted Companies Alliance Corporate Finance Advisory Group has advised on our response to the Financial Services Authority's Quarterly consultation (CP 12/5), which focused on the proposed changes to the UKLA Helpdesk.
