This programme of dinners features an event for each board member of a quoted company, where the topics and issues discussed are focused on your specific role.
Autumn Directors Dinner Programme

Our Directors Dinners bring together small and mid-size quoted company directors to hear from leading directors of larger companies, subject matter experts and / or industry leaders about their roles and how they have added shareholder value. Each dinner discussion focuses on the part played by specific roles on a Board (both executive and non-executive). The topics covered will provide you with plenty of insights on the key issues board members of quoted companies face, as well as the opportunity to share experiences with your peers who face similar issues. 

How it works:

The evening begins at 6:30pm with a welcome drink. During dinner, you will hear from our speakers and then have the opportunity to join in the discussion around the specific topic of the event. The dinner will conclude at 9:30pm.

Dress Code for the evening is business attire.


The dinners will be taking place in a restaurant in the City.


This event is free to Quoted Companies Alliance members and £375 + VAT for non-members.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, as the numbers are strictly limited. These events are open to company secretaries or company directors of quoted companies.

Cancellations must be made in writing at least one calendar month before the event. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this time. Please note speakers are subject to change. The Quoted Companies Alliance reserves the right to alter any part of this schedule without prior notice. Your details will be passed on to the sponsor and used only in conjunction with this event. Please let us know if you would not like this to happen.

Don Cruickshank, 7digital Group PLC

Sir Donald Cruickshank has been Chair of the Board of Directors at 7digital Group PLC since June 2014. Don served as a director of Qualcomm Incorporated from 2005 to 2016. His career has included assignments at McKinsey & Co. Inc., Times Newspapers, Virgin Group plc, Wandsworth Health Authority and the National Health Service in Scotland. He served as Director General of Oftel from 1993 to 1998. Don has been chair of the following: Action 2000 (1997-2000), SMG plc (1999-2004), The London Stock Exchange (2000-2003), Clinovia Group Limited (2004-2007), Formscape Group Limited  (2003- 2006). Don was a member of the Financial Reporting Council (2001-2007).
