Our Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting Expert Group campaigns for proportionate reporting standards for small and mid-sized quoted companies.
The group is currently working on/responsible for:
- The publication and maintenance of the QCA Audit Committee Guide (2019), and also contributes to the QCA Corporate Governance Code (2018) and QCA Practical Guide to ESG (2021)
- Monitoring and influencing developments to the accounting, auditing and financial reporting landscape in the UK, including in relation to corporate reporting, non-financial reporting, International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards, audit-related reviews, and the FRC’s transition to ARGA
- Engaging regulatory with key Government departments, regulators and other industry bodies, including BEIS, FRC, FRC Lab, IASB, UKEB
