Our Secondary Markets Expert Group deals with issues arising from the UK Government and regulators that affect secondary market issues to do with the trading and settlement of shares.
The group is currently working on/responsible for:
- Monitoring and influencing developments on secondary markets issues in relation to research (UK MiFID), UK Market Abuse Regulation, Prospectus Regulation, liquidity, trading, and settlement
- Engaging regularly with key Government departments, regulators and other industry bodies, HM Treasury, Bank of England, FCA, Pre-Emption Group, EISA, IPSX, ShareSoc
