Our Share Schemes Expert Group contributed to the QCA's Response to HMRC Policy paper Draft legislation: ‘Market Value of Shares, Securities and Strips Regulations 2014’ proposal. We are supportive of the draft proposal on how the market value of shares in listed companies is to be determined for tax purposes, insofar as it does not apply to unlisted securities.
