New QCA Audit Committee Guide published

We have published a new and updated version of our Audit Committee Guide.

It has been prepared to assist audit committee members and, in particular, the audit committee chair, to be effective in their roles. It sets out views of good practice and is a companion to the QCA Corporate Governance Code.

The guide focuses on providing general advice and guidance to new audit committee members, who may not yet be entirely familiar with the role of the audit committee and the tasks to be performed by its members.

For those smaller companies where an audit committee is not in place, the recommendations contained in this guide can be applied by the board.
