The QCA responded to Lord Hill's call for evidence on the UK's listing regime, which sought to stimulate debate around how we can encourage deeper capital markets and improve the flexibility and proportionality of our regulatory system in order to support growth and innovation. In particular, the consultation had a focus on:

  • Free float requirements;
  • Dual class share structures;
  • Track record requirements;
  • Prospectuses; and
  • Dual and secondary listings.
