Share Schemes

The QCA Share Schemes Committee examines all aspects of share scheme regulation to ensure that they remain cost effective and easy to implement. Share schemes are a particularly important tool for small and mid-cap quoted companies to motivate and retain key staff.

The Committee is currently working on:

  • Working with the ABI to promote sound principles for share-based remuneration for smaller quoted companies.
  • Lobbying HM Revenue & Customs to extend Corporation Tax relief in a takeover situation for the gains realised by their employee when they exercise their options to companies on AIM.
