Legal Expert Group
Our Legal Expert Group ensures that new and revised regulations that affect small and mid-sized quoted companies are proportionate and appropriate for the sector.
The group is currently working on/responsible for:
- Monitoring and influencing developments to new and revised regulation in the UK, including in relation to the Prospectus Regulation, UK Market Abuse Regulation, Listing Rules, takeovers and mergers, general market regulation, general company law, capital raising
- Engaging regularly with key Government departments, regulators and other industry bodies, including HM Treasury, DBT, AIM Regulation, FCA, CMA, Aquis, Takeover Panel, Law Society, Pre-Emption Group
