(Q3/Q4) Policy Matters from the QCA
As the year draws to a close, the Autumn Budget and the Modernising Corporate Reporting consultation are shaping the policy landscape for small and mid-sized quoted companies. The Chancellor delivered the Autumn Budget on 28 October. The "once-in-a-generation" Modernising Corporate Reporting consultation, open until 30 November, asks how much companies should report and in what form, and its proposals on strategic reporting, governance reporting and size thresholds could change what smaller quoted companies have to publish.
