Our Share Schemes Expert Group examines all aspects of share scheme regulation to ensure that they remain cost effective and easy to implement for small and mid-sized quoted companies.
The group is currently working on/responsible for:
- The publication and maintenance of the QCA Remuneration Committee Guide (2020). The Group also holds an annual event on share schemes for QCA members and contributes to the QCA’s Budget Representation to HM Treasury
- Monitoring and influencing developments on tax-advantaged and employee share schemes (Share Incentive Plans, Save As You Earn, Company Share Option Plans, Enterprise Management Incentives), remuneration and executive pay
- Engaging regularly with key Government departments, regulators and other industry bodies, including HM Treasury, HMRC, BEIS, the Government Equalities Office (GEO), the Investment Association, the Institutional Voting Information Service
