We are celebrating 25 years since a handful of small cap brokers and advisers founded the City Group for Smaller Companies (CISCO). After a name change in 2000 we became The Quoted Companies Alliance and have grown from the initial group to an independent membership organisation that champions the interests of small and mid-size quoted companies. Our membership has increased over the years and we currently have our highest number of companies since we formed.
To highlight this significant milestone we are holding a number of 25th Anniversary events not only to celebrate the past 25 years, but to look ahead to the next 25 by addressing the issues that affect small and mid-size quoted companies to help them grow.
- Q&A with the QCA: Investor Forum, 7 June – Quoted company directors will be invited to hear from a panel of investors debating 'How can investment in small and mid-cap companies be improved'. A second panel of financial journalists and a PR expert will be explaining how companies can 'Make headlines with the press'. - 25th Anniversary Reception, 7 June – Taking place in the Lord Mayor of London's Mansion House we will be toasting our 25 years with past and present members along with our many supporters that have enabled the longevity of our organisation. By invitation only.
- 25th Anniversary Annual Dinner, 7 September – The Dorchester hotel is the venue for our Annual Dinner which will focus on looking ahead and hearing from our Chairman Gervais Williams and a senior figure from the London Stock Exchange to set out the future for growth companies.
