The Remuneration Committee workshop and update session will take place online and aim to provide you with practical up-to-date information, together with the latest perspectives and views. The session will help you better understand how you can perform effectively as a member of a Remuneration Committee, both now or in future roles, or to provide support to the committee in its various activities

The workshop and update will cover corporate governance requirements and guidelines – setting the context in terms of the role and responsibilities of the Remuneration Committee. The session is ideal for new or recently appointed Remuneration Committee members or those wishing to refresh their knowledge and will also present the latest trends and insights that shape the challenges faced by Remuneration Committees including:

  • Different aspects of remuneration, including short and long-term incentives
  • Performance measurement
  • Benchmarking and how to use it effectively
  • The Remuneration Committee calendar
  • The latest investor thinking on topical issues.

A series of presentations will be delivered by senior Mercer  professionals experienced in advising on executive pay, which will be enhanced by a range of case study exercises. These will be followed by interactive sessions that will enable you to share your experience and thinking.
