Corporate Governance

The QCA Corporate Governance Committee lobbies the relevant regulators to ensure that the specific needs of small and mid-cap quoted companies are considered when drawing up new corporate governance guidelines.  It also produces and keeps up-to-date the QCA's corporate governance guidance booklet.

The Committee is currently working on:

  • Promoting its recently published guide - Corporate Governance Guidelines for Smaller Quoted Companies (September 2010)
  • Responding to the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills' (BIS) consultation on how to improve narrative reporting.
  • Responding to ICSA's consultation on its draft guidance on improving board effectiveness (previously the Higgs Guidance).
