The QCA Legal Committee drafted the response to BERR's c onsultation on the implementatrion of the Directive on the exercise of certain rights of shareholders in listed companies. The QCA noted that we do not believe that the changes proposed by Regulations 2 and 3 have removed the
confusion arising from the operation of the voting provisions in the Companies Act 2006.
