Our Corporate Governance and Legal Expert Groups contributed to our response to the BIS Consultation Paper on Corporate Directors: Scope of exceptions to the prohibition of corporate directors. We welcomed that UK companies with shares admitted to trading on regulated markets and on prescribed markets in the UK are expected to be exempted from this prohibition as they are subject to high standards of transparency and corporate governance. We outlined other exemptions that should also be foreseen for the use of corporate directors.
