Our Corporate Governance Expert Group developed our response to DEFRA's consultation on the draft regulations for greenhouse gas emissions reporting, which will be mandatory for listed companies from October 2013. We noted that any new reporting requirements should be proportionate and ensure that they do not stifle any potential growth of small and mid-size quoted companies, especially in the current economic climate.
