The Quoted Companies Alliance Corporate Governance Committee has examined the consultation by DEFRA regarding the measuring and reporting of greenhouse gasses by UK companies. Whilst we are supportive of the initiatives that will improve the decision making of the company, we cannot support initiatives that will impose disproportionate costs and time burdens on small and mid-cap companies.
