Our Corporate Governance and Financial Reporting Expert Groups contributed to the QCA Response to FRC's Financial Reporting Council Draft Plan & Budget and Levy Proposals 2014/15. We supported the initiative to improve the quality of reporting among smaller listed and AIM companies; however, we underlined that the FRC should not approach this issue as an enforcement activity, but instead work on it with companies by identifying and informing them of what reporting problems exist and provide suggestions for improvement.
