Our Corporate Governance Committee has advised on our response to the Treasury Select Committee corporate governance and remuneration inquiry. While the review was focused at the financial services sector, we expressed concern that the inquiry's terms of reference went beyond that sector and could impact on small and mid-sized quoted companies. We noted that there must be an appropriate, proportionate response to corporate governance for small and mid-sized quoted companies.
