Our Corporate Governance Expert Group works with boards, investors and regulators to promote high quality corporate governance by small and mid-sized quoted companies.
The Group is currently working on/responsible for:
- The publication and maintenance of the QCA Corporate Governance Code (2018), QCA Practical Guide to ESG (2021), QCA Board Performance Review Guide (2021), and also contributes to the QCA Audit Committee Guide (2019) and the QCA Remuneration Committee Guide (2020)
- Monitoring and influencing developments to the corporate governance landscape in the UK, including in relation to the UK Corporate Governance Code, Stewardship Code, AIM Rules, company law, proxy voting guidelines, ESG (TCFD and D&I etc.), general corporate governance reform and the FRC’s transition to ARGA
- Engaging regularly with key Government departments, regulators and other industry bodies, including BEIS, LSE, AIM Regulation, FRC, FCA, Investment Association, ISS, BPPG, ACCIF
