The Quoted Companies Alliance champions the interests of the UK's small and mid-size quoted companies. These companies will continue to need access to public equity in these uncertain times.
It is vital that the UK Government fully understands the importance of our nearly 2,000 small and mid-size quoted companies and that like us, it works to create an environment where that potential is fulfilled. They employ some 1.4 million people, representing 5.5% of private sector employment in the UK.
At the same time these businesses need a voice and a rallying point in these less certain times and we will continue to provide both of these.
