Kevin Hollinrake, Chairman of the Conservative Party

Kevin Hollinrake is the Conservative MP for Thirsk and Malton and currently serves as Chairman of the Conservative Party. A successful entrepreneur, he co-founded Hunters Estate Agents in 1992, growing it into one of the UK’s leading property networks. Before entering politics, Kevin spent over 30 years in business, bringing commercial insight to his parliamentary work.

Since being elected in 2015, he has held several ministerial and shadow cabinet roles, including Minister for Small Business and Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade, and for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. He is a passionate advocate for fair business practices and regional development.

Born and raised in North Yorkshire, Kevin is a keen sportsman and remains deeply connected to his local community.

Chris Burn is Head of Business and Features at The Yorkshire Post. He joined the paper in 2017 and has previously served as Political Editor and Assistant Features Editor. With a background in regional journalism at The Sheffield Star and The Shropshire Star, Chris brings deep insight into Yorkshire’s business landscape and political affairs.
